Embry-Riddle provides an excellent education to members of the military, from cadets in ROTC to members of the U.S. Armed Forces seeking degrees to veterans starting their next chapter.

Students go on to serve in the U.S. Air Force, Army, Navy, Marines, Space Force and Coast Guard. In the latest alumni survey, the largest single industry for alumni respondents was the military at 17% of graduates. The U.S. Army ROTC Eagle Battalion in Daytona Beach was named among the best in the nation in 2024. The U.S. Air Force ROTC Detachment 157 in Daytona Beach produces the most commissioned Air Force officers and pilot candidates outside of the U.S. Air Force Academy.

After graduation, alumni make their mark in industry and rise to the highest levels of defense.

One hundred and seventy-seven alumni have attained the rank of general or flag officer in the U.S. Armed Forces, including Gen. Charles Q. “CQ” Brown Jr., chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the most senior military adviser to the U.S. President.

We are growing our support for these valuable students and alumni at every level: scholarships for active-duty military members in our Worldwide; campus services to cadets, active-duty military and veterans on campus; and programs for military members transitioning into the workforce. Many Embry-Riddle Worldwide campuses across the world are found on military bases, from Nevada to England.

We need your help to support our student veterans and students still in the military.
