Your Generosity at Work in 2024

Thank you!

Thanks to generous contributions from nearly 4,000 donors in Fiscal Year 2024, support for our students rose to new levels. Embry-Riddle secured more than $28 million in outright gifts, planned gifts, gifts-in-kind and pledges, ranking it as the second-best year in our fundraising history.

Your support did amazing things this year for our students, both inside and outside the classroom. Highlights include:

  • Donors contributed more than $24 million to scholarship and fellowship funds, ensuring that those who dream of an elite education at Embry-Riddle, regardless of background or financial status, will have the means to achieve their goals.
  • Students gained more access to once-in-a-lifetime educational and research experiences. For example, your giving helped students across several majors design, build and deploy innovative systems to study the harsh environments of space — including a CubeSat camera system that flew to the moon and another that flew with alumnus Jared Isaacman (’11) who made the first-ever commercial spacewalk.
  • Thanks to your participation in Philanthropy Councils, we were able to help fund a student team that took first place in the international Design/Build/Fly competition that included more than 1,000 students from 93 universities all over the world.
  • Veterans pursuing advanced degrees were able to transition from the military to the private sector, thanks to generous scholarships.
  • Our endowment (including donor-restricted endowment funds and board-designated funds functioning as endowment funds) was valued at $314.2 million as of June 30, 2024 — ensuring that generations of students will have opportunities to pursue their dreams and excel year after year.

These are just a few of the examples of how your gifts are enriching the lives of students at Embry-Riddle every day. Thanks to you, Embry-Riddle is launching the careers of more graduates, supporting our military, inspiring and driving discovery, and training more pilots than any other university in the world.
